Arrival Essentials

In this workshop, facilitated by an International Student Advisor from International Student Experience Unit (ISEU), you will learn the essentials to settling in, living and learning in your new environment. It is strongly advised that you attend this session as soon as possible after arriving at UNSW.

Welcome Day: International Student Welcome Day

The Welcome Day: International Student Welcome Day is designed to introduce you to studying at UNSW and to provide you with a practical experience of attending lectures and learning in Australia. The one day event is suitable for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. You will get the opportunity to meet other commencing students, UNSW staff and International Student Experience Unit International Cultural Mentors.

Registration is required via the  ISEU Online Booking System. Research students (PhD and Masters by Research) who have difficulties using the ISEU Online Booking System can register by sending an email to ISEU with the details of their full name, student id number and degree program.

Under 18's Induction Day

This is a mandatory session for all students under 18 who have taken up UNSW's care, welfare and accommodation arrangements. The session is facilitated by International Student Advisors from International Student Experience Unit (ISEU), who monitor the well-being of students under 18 years of age at UNSW.

Campus Tours

Joining a International Student Experience Unit (ISEU) campus tour is the best way to get to know the campus and other newly commencing international students. Tours are led by Cultural Mentors who will show you faculty buildings, important student services, printing and copying facilities, the best places to eat and much more. Parents and partners are also welcome.
