1) Accept or defer your offer
Inform the University of your intention to take up your offer to study at UNSW.
2) Enrol in your courses
Select and enrol in your specific courses.
3) Set-up your IT essentials
Activate your student ID through the Identity Manager, set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), student email account and Moodle access, and download the Uni-Verse App - IT for students.
4) Register for orientation events
Check out all the O-Week events and activities!
International students should register for the International Welcome event.
5) Attend your Faculty Welcome session
Meet some of the academic staff in your faculty and ask questions about your studies and life at UNSW.
6) Get involved in student life
There are many activities planned to help you make friends, connect with your communities and settle into your first year.
Arc has a huge range of activities for you to get moving, get together and get creative through both on-campus and virtual events!

7) Complete the O-Week Survey

8) Complete the ELISE Quiz
Completing the ELISE quiz is mandatory for all commencing UNSW students and is designed to introduce new students to UNSW. Keep an eye on your inbox for more details on when the ELISE quiz is ready!
9) Get to know your support network
Settle into your studies quickly and easily by participating in a Peer Support Program.
Get information on all the opportunities available to you from exchange to careers and employment and access health, financial, wellbeing support services here.
Do you need help settling in to uni life at UNSW?
- International students can arrange an appointment with a Student Support Advisor for questions regarding accommodation, visas, and finding work when you arrive on campus.
- Check out our cultural programs, such as the Cultural Mentor Program and the Language Exchange Program to help you make friends and meet people from all over the world.
- Domestic students can arrange an appointment with a Student Support Advisor to promote the development of skills needed to succeed at university.
