Grand Challenges: Design for a Better World

The UNSW Grand Challenges team are looking for passionate students to join them in searching for solutions to the Grand Challenges on Climate Change, Refugees & Migrants and Inequality. If you would like to work with other students across different disciplines, and with experts in the field, to develop innovative solutions to some of the Grand Challenges of our time, register your interest today!

Responsibilities

Student teams will have critical discussions, and in the process raise awareness of the ground-breaking research and excellent initiatives undertaken by UNSW academics, staff and students. The Design for a Better World is a program which will see students working with other students across faculties, and with experts in the field, to develop innovative solutions to some of the Grand Challenges of our time.

Position

UNSW Grand Challenges Program Participant

Training

A 2 hour orientation sessions will provide participants with all relevant information to complete the program.

Duration

A 12 week program run between March and June. Total of 22 hours commitment is required.
