UNSW LawPLUS is a peer mentoring program designed to help new students adjust to university life and the Law School. LawPLUS aims to introduce newcomers to the vibrant student culture and inclusive environment of the Law School. It is a joint initiative of UNSW Law and the UNSW Law Society, and is supported by the UNSW Counselling Unit. The program is coordinated and run by student volunteers throughout the year.
Directors liaise between mentors and Vice President (Activities) and manage the mentors through the overall process. Mentors meet weekly with mentees as well as volunteer with year-wide social events, skills workshops and presentations.
Relevant training will be provided.
