The Skill Development Program Teams help to broaden volunteers' teamwork, leadership, communication and other skills specific to each team. The teams are student-led with the assistance of staff, meaning that they have the autonomy and creative freedom to pursue their own ideas and projects within the context of the team.

Volunteer tasks differ between each team and volunteer position, however generally:

  • Project Officers run events, workshops or create online posts and marketing materials
  • Team Representatives organise and facilitate the running of their team and projects, liaising with the Program Support Team (Joint student/ staff committee) to give updates and request assistance as needed.
