Student Representative Forum - Project Officer

The Student Representative Forum is a collective Forum meeting for all elected student representatives from various University committees and councils.

The Forum aims to:

  • Provide networking opportunities to student representatives
  • Discuss common issues affecting student representatives and the broader student community
  • Identify and provide skill development opportunities to student representatives.


The Student Representative Forum Project Officers are the facilitators of the Forum; responsible for the operational responsibilities and direction. They support and facilitate new initiatives and continuously improve procedures and processes within the Forum. They are also responsible for encouraging communication and connection between Forum members.

How to get involved

Open to internal candidates only. Students must already be in a position on the SRF to apply. In order to become a representative, please see 'committees and councils' search item on the UNSW Advantage search.


Project Officer


Training provided is 1:1 with support from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and UNSW Governance. 


The opportunity runs between March and March year to year and includes six annual meetings, plus additional outside work. Minimum 20 hours of commitment.
