Key Dates

Here you can find key dates for all students (except students at UNSW Canberra) including specific enrolment, fee, exam dates and public holidays. For Term and Teaching Period start and end dates please refer to the Academic Calendar.

What are T1, T2A, U1B, etc?
Some dates include abbreviations that refer to specific periods of teaching in each term/semester. Different key dates and deadlines apply to each Teaching Period. You can check the Teaching Period of your courses in your myUNSW Class Timetable or Enrolment Basket. For more information, see Teaching Periods.

Term 1, 2020 - Supplementary Exam Period (T1)

25 May 2020 – 29 May 2020

Supplementary exams will be held during the above period. Excludes AGSM, ADFA, COFA and the School of Optometry (contact schools for more information).

Term 2, 2020 - Drop course enrolment if failed to class register (T2 and T2A)

26 May 2020

If you have not registered for Teaching Period Two (T2) or Teaching Period Two - A (T2A) classes by this date your enrolment in the course will be cancelled

Term 1, 2020 - Deadline to drop WITH academic penalty (T1C)

29 May 2020, 11:59pm

Last day to drop Teaching Period One - C (T1C) courses WITH academic penalty, resulting in a grade of AW. Note: T1C is not a main teaching period and runs for 5 weeks from the end of Teaching Period One (T1). Please check the teaching period of your courses in myUNSW.

Term 2, 2020 - Enrolment deadline and Payment due (T2 and T2A)

7 Jun 2020, 11:59pm

Last day to add or swap courses via myUNSW and pay fees for Teaching Period Two (T2) and Teaching Period Two - A (T2A)

Term 2, 2020 - Enrolment deadline and Payment due (MT2)

7 Jun 2020, 11:59pm

Last day to add or swap courses via myUNSW and pay fees for MT2 (UG Medicine)

Term 2, 2020 - Enrolment deadline and Payment due (MG2)

7 Jun 2020, 11:59pm

Last day to add or swap courses via myUNSW and pay fees for MG2 (AGSM)

Term 2, 2020 - Drop course enrolment if failed to class register (MT2)

9 Jun 2020

If you have not registered for MT2 (UG Medicine) classes by this date your enrolment in the course will be cancelled

Term 2, 2020 - Drop course enrolment if failed to class register (MG2)

9 Jun 2020

If you have not registered for MG2 (AGSM) classes by this date your enrolment in the course will be cancelled

Term 2, 2020 - Census date and drop WITHOUT academic penalty (T2A)

14 Jun 2020, 11:59pm

Last day to drop Teaching Period Two - A (T2A) courses without financial and academic penalty. Note: T2A is not a main teaching period and runs during Weeks 1-5 of Teaching Period Two (T2). Please check the teaching period of your courses in myUNSW.

Term 2, 2020 - Enrolment deadline and Payment due (EM3)
