How to Research for Your Assignments

This workshop deals specifically with the early steps in the process of essay and assignment writing, giving students practical strategies to deal with analysing essay/assignment questions; formulating a thesis or point of view; choosing keywords and using catalogues/databases to find relevant research materials. This workshop will benefit first-year students, or anyone who feels that their research process needs focus and direction.
