Fundraising Team

The Fundraising Team is one of the student project team of the Skill Development Program.

The team organises exciting events on campus each semester. Team members work in a vibrant environment where they get to organise events and engage and interact with students from all faculties while fundraising for key community charities.

This opportunity is accredited by UNSW Advantage as eligible for recognition on your Australian Higher Graduation Statement (AHEGS).

Team members

Each Skill Development team is led by two team representatives and three to six project officers.


  • Organise and manage three fundraising events to support community charities (Outdoor Cinema, Lunch on the Lawn, one other event of the team's choice)
  • Bring together students from both international and local backgrounds as well as from across faculties
  • Attend weekly project team meetings
  • Enhance the student experience by creating a fun and vibrant campus
  • Adhere to WHS procedures and university protocols
