As you will be aware, the global situation involving COVID-19 is evolving and UNSW continues to follow the guidance of NSW Health.
While NSW Health have advised us not to close the campus, we have been advised to introduce a number of steps to reduce virus transmission, including social distancing.
In line with this advice, UNSW has made the decision to not hold the May graduation ceremonies, which are currently scheduled to commence on Monday May 4 and conclude on Thursday May 14.
We are sorry that this global health issue has caused you inconvenience and we remain united in supporting all in our community with acceptance, respect, compassion and inclusion.
Please see below for more details of what to do next if your graduation ceremony was scheduled for May.
UNSW holds three graduation festivals throughout the year and if you wish to attend a ceremony in August or December 2020, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org by May 31, to let us know which festival you would prefer to attend or if you have any questions.
