Under 18's Arrival Essentials

This is a mandatory session for all students under 18 who have taken up UNSW's care, welfare and accommodation arrangements. The session is facilitated by International Student Advisors from Student Development International, who monitor the well-being of students under 18 years of age at UNSW.

Culture of Oz

The Student Development International (SDI) Culture of Oz series of workshops during the semester aims to help international students develop their understanding of the Australian culture. Guest speakers are invited to these workshops to talk to students on topics such as Indigenous culture and history, Colonisation in Australia, Geography and Australian symbols, Australian Public Holidays and their history, Australian Slang, Sport, Academic culture and Australian work place culture. These cultural sessions are informative and interactive.
