Important notes
Before making travel arrangements for your graduation ceremony, ensure that you:
- Have been allocated to a ceremony period
- Confirm your attendance through myUNSW, opens in a new window by changing your attendance type to ‘Attending’
- Pay your graduation fee by the deadline.
If you fail to confirm attendance or pay the fee on time, your ceremony allocation may change. For example, if you miss the deadline for March, you may need to express interest in attending a later ceremony, such as in August or December.
Is your family applying for a visa to attend your ceremony?
If your family members are in the process of applying for an Australian visa to attend your graduation ceremony, you may use your Award & Enrolment Statement as a supporting document for their application as proof of your program completion. This will go along with your invitation letter and a copy of your ceremony allocation email. For more information on visa applications, visit the Department of Home Affairs, opens in a new window.
