Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) will be offering scholarships for Australian students to participate in FUBiS Term I 2019 (program dates: January 5 – 25, 2019). The Ernst-Reuter-Gesellschaft e.V. grants 10 scholarships for FUBiS participants from Australian universities.
FUBiS is an intensive short-term program for international students offered by Freie Universität Berlin. During three terms per year, FUBiS offers subject courses in English and German language courses at all proficiency levels. All courses make use of the city and its manifold resources. FUBiS also arranges for housing, extra-curricular activities and other program options.
The scholarship amounts to €2,700 per person. Each scholarship will include the FUBiS program fee, tuition, accommodation, excursions, as well as health insurance. A travel allowance will also be included. Eligible for this scholarship are undergraduate students who are at least in their second semester of university studies by January 2019.
Students should apply directly to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 21, 2018.
You must have approved UNSW Cross Institutional Study to be eligible for the scholarship. For more information see - Applying for credit and funding for your overseas short course.
All programs involve some degree of risk to participants. If you choose to source a provider on your own, please remember to do some research on them first and ensure that they are a legitimate organisation and that the product they offer will definitely meet your requirements. Students are therefore advised to undertake their own risk assessment before departure and any participation in these programs is at their own risk.
All students should register their travel with UNSW. You should also undertake a risk assessment before heading overseas. For more information see - How to prepare for departure.
