Join the SMU Global Summer Programme to immerse yourself in Asia and its many possibilities.

Course period: 1 to 26 July 2019

  • Read up to 2 courses from various disciplines during the summer term
  • Open to undergraduates & recent graduates
  • Full-time course workload and gain credits towards your studies
  • 36 contact hours per course (worth 1 SMU Credit Unit)
  • 3 interactive seminar-style classes per course per week
  • Official academic transcripts and certificate will be given upon programme completion
  • SMU ID card is yours to keep!
  • Orientation on the 28 June 2019 (Fri)

Applications are due Friday, April 21 2019. Contact the Advisor for Global Education ( for an application. Students must also complete this UNSW Overseas Short Course Application Form and Transfer of Credit Form by 15 April 2019.

Risk assessment

All programs involve some degree of risk to participants. If you choose to source a provider on your own, please remember to do some research on them first and ensure that they are a legitimate organisation and that the product they offer will definitely meet your requirements. Students are therefore advised to undertake their own risk assessment before departure and any participation in these programs is at their own risk.


Before departure
