A&D Annual 2020 Logo Competition

A&D Annual 2020 Logo Competition

Published: 5 August 2020

The A&D ANNUAL 20 Logo Competition invites all current UNSW Art & Design students to design the logo for this year’s ANNUAL Graduate Exhibition.

We’re looking for a logo that captures the spirit of our Art & Design campus and celebrates the 2020 graduating cohort. You may want to create a logo around the ‘A’ or the ‘20’, or something else entirely – be creative with it!

The competition is open to all current UNSW Art & Design students (first years too) and final year design students are encouraged to enter. Students may also collaborate in groups of 2-4.

The winner will receive $1000 prize money with the winning design adopted for use in all A&D ANNUAL 20 promotional materials. The submissions will be judged by a panel of UNSW Art & Design academic staff members led by Dean Professor Ross Harley.

The winning designer will have the opportunity to further develop their design with the ANNUAL 20 Project Team for various assets as required.

Sunday 23 August 2020 - 11:59PM

Submission Requirements:
To enter the competition

  • Submit your logo design in a single PDF document. The maximum file size for upload is 20MB. Your PDF must not exceed 10 pages.
  • We encourage you to explore the potential of your design as an animated file. If you choose to explore this option, please upload your animation in the required field. Files may be uploaded in animated GIF or MP4 formats.
  • Accompany your design with a concept statement in the ‘About Your Design’ section of this form. Your statement should explain the significance of your design in the context of UNSW Art & Design and how it relates to the ANNUAL 20 Graduate Exhibition. The character limit for your concept statement is strictly 2,500 characters (approx. 200 words). Submissions over this limit will not be accepted.
