Winter Abroad at Yonsei 2020-2021

NOTE: Approval to participate in this program is dependent on changes to the current travel restrictions and confirmation that it is safe for UNSW students to travel to the region.

 Yonsei University offers a 5-week winter program at their Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul.

Winter Abroad at Yonsei is composed of two separate sessions:

Session 1: 3-week program focusing on academic achievement with various courses

Session 2:  2-week program with an intensive Korean language course along with distinguished cultural and historical lectures related to Korea society.

On the weekend, participants can enjoy special Korean winter activities.

 

Program Overview

Application Deadline: 29 October 2020

Location: Seoul, Korea

Session 1: Dec 28 2020 – Jan 18 2021

Session 2: Jan 21 2021 – Feb 3 2021

Students may take either one or two sessions.

Students can take up to maximum 2 courses and in total 6 credits.

Tuition Fees: from KRW 1,600,000 (application fee is KRW 100,000)

Risk assessment

All programs involve some degree of risk to participants. If you choose to source a provider on your own, please remember to do some research on them first and ensure that they are a legitimate organisation and that the product they offer will definitely meet your requirements. Students are therefore advised to undertake their own risk assessment before departure and any participation in these programs is at their own risk.
