UNSW Student Development is proud to announce that their Leadership Foundations program is now taking applications for their 2021 intensive program.
Leadership Foundations is an AHEGS accredited leadership development program available to all UNSW students. The program aims to empower students to develop core leadership skills linked to an emotional intelligence framework, which can be applied in a range of different personal and professional contexts, including:
This program is a co-curricular professional development program, which is free and non-credit bearing. Participation in this program is voluntary and involves the completion of development tasks to successfully meet the program requirements (and to receive AHEGS accreditation, course certificate and promotion on LinkedIn).
Who is this program for?
Applications are now open to all students with an interest in leadership, or students who are just starting out on their leadership development journey in a role such as peer mentor, club/society executive, student representative council member or faculty ambassador. This program is also intended for students who are passionate about personal or professional development, and can provide support to students exploring their career or life pathway direction.
When does the program run?
The Leadership Foundations program offers students the opportunity to invest in their personal and professional development during the September break (between Terms 2 & 3) without the distraction of normal coursework and exams.
