New Study Planners for your 2018 enrolment

Here is some important information to help you plan your 2018 course enrolment, prior to the introduction of the 2019 UNSW3+ calendar. This information will help you map out the path to complete your degree in your anticipated time frame.

Your Study Planner

The Your Study Planner is a tool that will help you to plan your future course enrolments, as a supplement to the UNSW Handbook. It is important that you review Your Study Planner because it will help you identify which courses you will need to undertake from 2018 in order to complete your degree on schedule.

Your Study Planner contains:

  • A 2019 example study plan for your degree
  • A list of core courses and when they will be taught in 2018 and 2019
  • A list of course prerequisites.

What you need to do

  1. Visit the Your Study Planner website.
  2. Download the How-to guide, or follow the instructions in the How-to video and review your degree information to ensure you enrol correctly for 2018 in preparation for 2019.
  3. Ensure you have access to the UNSW Handbook for the year that you commenced your studies at UNSW - this will help you with your degree requirements and course prerequisite rules.

If you anticipate graduating prior to 2019, then you may not need to take any action. You can enrol in 2018 as per usual.

Extra support

A drop-in marquee will be in operation from Tuesday, 3 October to Friday, 20 October in the CLB Courtyard at the UNSW Kensington Campus with Faculty Advisors who can assist you in interpreting Your Study Planner. The marquee will be open weekdays from 10am-3pm for questions regarding the transition to the new calendar. Outside of these hours, you may still go to your regular Faculty Advisors for support.
