Request for a Notetaker

If you are registered with Disability Services and have been asked to apply for a notetaker for any of your courses, please fill out the application form below.

Please note the following:

  • Notetakers are provided for lectures only.
  • We are unable to provide notetakers for seminars, tutorials, lectures based significantly on discussions, online courses, studios or intensive courses that are held over full days (such as Summer Semester or three-day courses).
  • If you change your course enrolment, or drop a course during semester, please notify Disability Services immediately by email disabilities@unsw.edu.au. You will need to fill out a request form for each new course you require a notetaker for.
  • To ensure we recruit a notetaker for the correct courses, we are unable to put the service in place until you submit your form.

We will only send correspondence to your zMail account so please check your student emails regularly. We are unable to use personal email addresses.

Please specify below the courses you require a notetaker for.

COURSE 1

The 4-digit number on your timetable that identifies which class you are in. This number is very important. Do not leave it out. You will find it on MyUNSW. Click MY STUDENT TAB. Then click UPDATE YOUR ENROLMENT link in left hand pane. In next screen click UPDATE YOUR ENROLMENT link at bottom of right screen. Then click link VIEW TIMETABLE. Your class numbers will be listed there.
