Bike-ology is a free Arc service where students teach students all about bike repair and maintenance. Students can bring their busted bicycle in, are given tips and tricks in bicycle maintenance, with hands-on experience with bicycle tools and repairs.
Volunteers will get a chance to run workshops and one-on-one tutorials showing students how to fix and maintain their bikes. They also offer educational programs, events, and trainings for students that promote biking as part of a wider sustainable-lifestyle choice.
Express your interest via the Volunteer Application form on the Bike-ology website.
You'll undergo hands-on training from experienced bike mechanics to perform maintenance and gain the skills to pass the knowledge on to others.
During semester weeks, 2 hour workshops are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
