MCIC Founders Foundations Volunteer Program

Founders Foundations is based at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre which features an Event Space, Design Space and Makerspace. Volunteers will work in and around campus as well as online.

Responsibilities

Founders Foundations Volunteers are expected with work independently and collaboratively on an innovation-based project throughout the term. This includes but is not limited to project planning, design, facilitation, graphics and marketing.

There is also opportunity to provide support for UNSW Founders events and workshops throughout the term. These events are designed to supporting student, staff and alumni entrepreneurial skill building, innovation and making, and spark inspiration for ideas.

Position

Volunteer

Training

As part of the Founders Foundations community volunteers will undergo training. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn from the community and through the Foundations staff lead on their nominated project.

Duration

The Founders Foundation Volunteer Program runs during term. Students are expected to participate in volunteering activities - 2 hours per week as well as training. The total commitment is at minimum 20 hours per term.

    (For recognition on Australia Higher Education Graduation Statement)
