Critically discuss mainstream pornography, its commercial nature, addiction and key distortions of body image, sexual behaviour & gender roles in this workshop from Elephant Ed. 

What to expect:

  • Industry Insight: Discussion around online, mainstream pornography, including the messaging that it is a commercial industry involving paid actors following a script.
  • Addiction Science: Explore the science behind addiction to pornography and the associated consequences.
  • Critical Analysis of Distortions: Analyse three key distortions present in mainstream pornography:
    • Body Image
    • Sexual Behaviour
    • Gender Roles

Join us to develop a critical understanding of the impact of online pornography and how to navigate its distortion of reality.
