About the program

Study in English, make friends & learn German at one of Germany's best universities while enjoying winter in the snow  in beautiful Tübingen! Do not just learn about European societies - experience Europe up close on two different Study Tracks. Class sessions are highly interactive, intercultural and combine both traditional and innovative teaching styles, including field trips and field research conducted by you, the participants, yourselves. Meet with representatives of various organizations who offer insights into how their activities help build stronger community TIES.

The program comprises subject courses, a German language course (A1-A2) and intercultural workshop.

Subject courses:

Students can choose between two Study Tracks:

(A) "Europe, Diversity, and the Question of Identity"

(B) "Representing the European Past in Cross-Cultural Communities"

Enrolment Type: DIRECT ENROLMENT 

Program fee: €1,950

Credit Transfer

Approval for credit transfer for learning abroad programs is at the discretion of your Faculty. 

Completion of an approved Short Course typically will lead to the awarding of 6 or 12 Free Elective Units of Credit, or where applicable, 6 or 12 General Education Units of Credit toward your UNSW program.

Reflect and complete the Returned Student Questionnaire

Become an Learning Abroad ambassador and share your experience!
