
What is the John Holland Scholarship?
The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. and John Holland Pty Ltd. STEM Scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander University students are available annually to two new and/or continuing university students. Each successful applicant receives $15,000, and where applicable, scholarship winners are offered casual, ongoing paid work experience on a JH project or corporate office while they complete their university studies.

Applicants will be chosen according to the following criteria:
- Applicant is Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and is accepted as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which the applicant lives or has lived
- Enrolled in at least one Science Technology Engineering Maths (STEM) University course in New South Wales (NSW)
- Consistently high results in core subjects
- Ability to work casual or ongoing paid work experience on a JH Project or corporate office while completing your university studies. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview with a minimum 3-person panel.
