Expressions of interest are now open for Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct’s Student and Early Career Reference Group. This group plays a key role in sharing ideas and giving feedback about the Randwick Campus Redevelopment, and how the Precinct will work once the construction is complete.
As part of the official Precinct’s governance structure, the group ensures students and early career professionals play an appropriate and meaningful advisory role in how education opportunities and student needs are incorporated into all relevant aspects of planning the Randwick Campus Redevelopment and the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct (RHIP).
The RHIP is looking for students and early career professionals who bring a range of experience and opinions. Areas of contribution could include:
- Project planning and the design process
- The physical and aesthetic nature of facilities
- Operational functionality and service delivery
- Training and education - how will you learn at the Precinct?
- Accessibility
- Use of green space, sustainability, community, transport, wayfinding and retail space.
The Group members will see real-world outcomes that incorporate their ideas and will gain insight into translational education, clinical research, infrastructure and precinct planning. Members provide leadership, connection, coordination and support to strengthen student experience and education opportunities, and the overall user experience across the Precinct.
In return, members will gain real-world experience, meet a broad range of community leaders and contributions will be acknowledged with letters of reference. The Student and Early Career Reference Group is a great experience for anyone interested in improving health, education, innovation and technology, project planning, construction, built design, art and culture.
