During July 2023, License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras will be installed at vehicle entry and exit points and in carparks at UNSW's Paddington and Kensington campuses.
The purpose of these cameras is to collect data on carpark usage and to support post-incident investigations.
The LPR cameras will not replace the use of the Cellopark and vPermit apps or the pay metres - these will continue to be used to pay for parking at UNSW.
