Over the last few months, the Safety team has identified a trend across multiple locations where egress doors are obstructed or egress passages/stairs are used as a storage space. This poses a safety hazard, creating obstacles along emergency pathways.
For safety reasons, please ensure not to obstruct entry/exit pathways with your work, or other objects. At UNSW, all emergency egress doors, corridors leading to the doors and emergency stairs must remain free of obstacles or clutter.
