Want to help improve student health and wellbeing at UNSW?
We're looking for Student Ambassadors to join the 2025 Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) and play an integral part in shaping the direction of health and wellbeing at UNSW.
The UNSW Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is a team of visible and passionate advocates representing the health and wellbeing needs of UNSW students, who action change to improve the student experience. The SHAC provides strategic input and advocates for student needs by undertaking projects to improve the health and wellbeing of students across the university.
A team of SHAC Student Ambassadors support this committee and facilitate the changes raised. There are currently up to twenty opportunities available for the role of Committee Student Ambassador (recognised AHEGS position).
Applications close 9am, Monday 3 March 2025.
We aim to ensure the members of SHAC represent the diverse community of UNSW and encourage students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, are international students studying both on and offshore, are members of the LGBTIQ+ community and those living with a disability to apply for these roles. While diversity and inclusion is of importance for these roles, it will not be the deciding factor within the application process.
