What is the AINSE Pathway Scholarship?
The AINSE Pathway Scholarship is a $5,000 payment given to students undertaking an Honours or Masters project (either Coursework Masters or Research Masters) involving the use of ANSTO facilities or prior AINSE-sponsored research data.
To be eligible for the AINSE Pathway Scholarship, students must be:
- Enrolled in an Honours or Masters degree
- Studying at a current financial AINSE Member Institution (for some period between Wednesday 1 January 2025 and Monday 31 March 2025)
- Must submit a research project involving the use of ANSTO facilities, or the analysis of data previously collected from ANSTO facilities, in collaboration with an ANSTO staff member.
Please note: PhD students should instead apply for the AINSE Postgraduate Research Award round opening in February 2025.
Applications close 11.59pm, Saturday 15 March 2025.
How to apply:
Complete an online application form through the AINSE Grants Portal and supply:
- A copy of your Academic Transcript
- A reference from your university supervisor
- A letter from your university research office confirming your enrolment details.
Each application is assessed by a specialist committee that oversees the specified area of research.
