What is happening?
UNSW is upgrading its WiFi infrastructure to provide faster and more reliable service. From the 10 December, the 2.4GHz band will be decommissioned across Eduroam, Uniwide, UNSW Guests, and Global_Students networks.
What do I need to do?
If your device is a stationary IoT device that connects to 2.4GHz exclusively, please connect to the UNSW-IoT network via Get Online | UNSW Sydney and email [email protected] to review permanent solutions.
If your device is a moving device that connects to 2.4GHz exclusively, please upgrade your device to a newer model compatible with the 5GHz networks.
