About the program

In 2025, CUHK International Summer School will offer 20 academic courses plus Chinese language courses across two sessions: July (June 22 – July 30) and August (August 3 – 24).

In the five-week July Session, you can take up to two courses, each with 42 contact hours, taught entirely in English across these areas of study:

  • Environment, Science and Technology
  • Exploring Hong Kong
  • Global Business and Management
  • Society and Human Interaction
  • Understanding China
  • Chinese Language (Putonghua or Cantonese)

The three-week August Session offers two courses of intensive Chinese language training in Putonghua at various levels. The programme will provide an opportunity for you to acquire pragmatic competence in the Chinese language through classroom learning and immersion activities.

For a full list of courses offered, and more information on each session, please visit the CUHK International Summer School 2025 website.
