Student Life and Learning knows that completing your studies and graduating is a very exciting time. Here is some information that could assist you in preparing for your graduation and for leaving UNSW.

Completing Students' Workshops

These workshops assist you to move on from your studies at UNSW. Whether you are returning home, moving to another country, or planning to stay in Australia, SDI conducts a series of informative seminars for all completing international students.

These workshops are designed to prepare students for:

  • Graduation procedures
  • Preparation to leave UNSW
  • Post Study Work options for students wishing to remain in Australia
  • Career advice for those seeking work in the Australian and International job markets

These workshops are free but places are limited!

Your graduation and family visa information

You can invite your parents to Australia to attend your Graduation Ceremony. To do this, you need to write an invitation letter to your parents indicating you wish your parents to attend your Graduation Ceremony in Australia. You will need to demonstrate you have completed your degree and are graduating. You will need an Award Statement.
