Join Human Rights Watch's Elaine Pearson in this on-campus event for a discussion about her new book, Chasing Wrongs and Rights, hosted by ABC TV Weekend Breakfast's Fauziah Ibrahim.
The former Australia Director at Human Rights Watch will share her experiences defending human rights, from human trafficking in Nepal to the 'drug war' in the Philippines to treatment of detainees in Papua New Guinea and in Australia, offering a personal account of how far we’ve come, and how far we’ve got to go.
Copies of Elaine's book will be available for purchase and signing following the event.
