Not everyone can travel, and virtual programs allow you to participate in learning abroad without having to leave home.
What is a virtual learning abroad experience?
Virtual Learning Abroad programs are international study opportunities offered completely online. You don’t need to travel overseas to the host location.
Opportunities include online courses, internships, Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and other shorter experiences such as extra-curricular or not-for-credit programs.

Can I receive academic credit for these courses?
Some programs are eligible for credit transfer. Your faculty will assess the program details and advise you if/where it could fit in your UNSW program and how many units of credit (UOC) it will be worth.

Explore the Learning Abroad Notices and sign up to receive weekly updates about new opportunities. Reflect on your goals and the courses you want to take as part of your planning.
Once you find the right experience and are ready to apply, follow the application instructions provided in each Learning Abroad Notice post. Don’t forget to submit your application by the deadline.
