About the program

BITSA Peer Mentoring offers mentoring sessions for Information Systems/Technology-based students, focusing on easing the transition between high-school and university as well as providing guidance to students in regards to all aspects of university life. BITSA Peer Mentoring uniquely offers one-on-two/one-on-three peer mentoring sessions where you are paired with a more experienced Information Systems student. Mentoring Events include weekly challenges as well as major events (in-person/online). Events include an Opening Event (Week 2), Mid-Session Event (Week 5/6) and Closing Event (Week 9).

When does this program run?

Term 1

Week 2 to Week 9 or 10 of term.

New student (mentee) registrations

This program is for first year students studying an Information Systems degree (Information Systems degrees include Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce / Information Systems), students taking Information Systems as a second major or students who have an interest in Information Systems or technology in general.
