Execution of work – The exhibited work is of a high standard in its realisation relative to the disciplinary focus, and through an iterative process has been fully investigated and well-resolved.

    In the spirit of Harry Howard's life work, the Program and Donor encourage the prize winner to use the prize to its full potential by undertaking travel to explore Australia's designed and natural landscapes. Whilst not obligatory, the Program invites prize recipients back the following year to present their travel expreience to students and industry friends of the Landscape Architecture Program.
