Here you can find lists of every prize and medal that UNSW awards, and past prize winners.

UNSW is proud to present more than 500 prizes annually to students, for meritorious academic achievement. Prizes can take many forms, including medals. The University Medal is one of the most distinguished awards to be bestowed on an undergraduate.

Other prizes can be trophies, books, book vouchers, cash amounts and certificates. Individual donors, organisational donors and Schools make these prizes possible.

Information for Prize Recipients

If your prize comes with a monetary payment, it will be paid to you by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). To receive your prize money, please complete this reimbursement form.

You will need to complete:

• Section 1 - claimant details

• Section 2 - claim details (in other) 

• Section 4 - student payment details

• Insert your digital signature in Section 5 - Claimant declaration

• Forward your completed form to your faculty (check your prize announcement email for details).

Note: The form only allows you to claim two prizes at a time. If you have received more than two prizes, you will need to complete multiple forms.
