About the program

Sungkyunkwan University's International Summer Semester (ISS) is a unique academic program dedicated to sharing and experiencing the fascinating story of Seoul, Korea's 600-year-old capital. The program aims to develop students' global engagement by providing opportunities to share different perspectives on global issues, make friends with various cultural backgrounds, and explore Korea's history, culture, and society.

The ISS provides a four-week course. By bringing together students and faculty from Korea and around the world, the ISS not only stimulates students’ academic initiatives, but also broadens their knowledge.

For a full list of courses on offer please see the SKKU ISS website: https://summer.skku.edu/summer/program/Course_BM.do

The ISS also offers various extra-curricular activities for the students to engage in cross-cultural interactions. By providing exciting programs and field trips to an amusement park, Korean Folk Village and more, students get to make new friends and have fun with them throughout the entire summer.
