Selected Engineering Schools will host their own welcome events. These events will give you an opportunity to meet key staff, familiarise yourself with processes, and learn more about your area of study.

Student Societies
UNSW Engineering has over 20 student societies representing many subsets of the overall cohort. These societies host a variety of professional development programs and networking activities throughout the year, and are a great way for students to get involved, grow their network and make friends.
Women in Engineering
This program aims to encourage women to pursue engineering degrees and careers and to support women throughout their degree. We're proud to have one of the largest women in Engineering communities in Australia!
UNSW MakerSpaces
Our UNSW MakerSpaces are a place for barrier-free access to tools and technology, including laser cutting and 3D printing, where you can come together to learn, build, upskill, and share.

Industrial Training
The UNSW Engineering Industrial Training program enables you to engage in authentic, supervised and assessed work learning experiences. This integrates academic learning with practical application in the workplace.
