The Arc Student Cookbook is an annual publication compiled from recipes submitted by UNSW Students. The Cookbook celebrates the diversity of the UNSW community through the exchange of recipes, stories and the shared interest of food, with a conscience towards sustainable and budget friendly ingredients.
Cookbook Volunteers compile the recipes to produce a professional-looking publication every year as well as help manage the Cookbook launch event. The Student Cookbook is also hoping to expand to have a continuous online presence through a Student Cookbook blog.
Apply online as a volunteer and/or submit recipes - http://arc.unsw.edu.au/cookbook
Volunteers are typically trained in the middle of Semester 1, before selecting winning recipe submissions. Designers and editors will be trained directly by the Marketing team later in the Semester.
Primarily throughout Semester 1. Some weekend volunteering work is involved, usually on two separate cooking and photo shoot days.
