Change your attendance status
How do I change my graduation attendance status?
Once signed on to myUNSW, you need to change your attendance status:
-
Not Attending - Mail
Your testamur will be sent to your myUNSW mailing address, free of charge, shortly after your ceremony. Testamurs are sent via Registered Post within Australia or by courier overseas.
Please note that the courier does not deliver to overseas postal boxes as items must be signed for on delivery.
For overseas deliveries you must also provide a contact telephone number at the delivery address.
If it would help to provide an address in a language other than English (e.g. in Chinese characters) for mailing, you can do so via the Survey link which is emailed to you with your ceremony allocation information.
Testamurs will be posted out progressively at the end of the graduation period. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery from the date of your graduation.

What is a testamur?
A testamur is the official certification of a student's completion of a degree, diploma or certificate obtained at the University of New South Wales. It contains the signatures of the Chancellor, the President and Vice-Chancellor, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Student Life, and bears the official seal of the University. It also contains the name of the graduate, award title and date of award conferral.
Majors are indicated; Minors do not appear on the testamur but are noted on the official academic transcript.
Testamurs are given at graduation ceremonies.
