The UNSW Health Service has a team of highly experienced doctors, specialists and health professionals available to help you with any concerns you may have about your health and wellbeing.

  • Pathology such as blood tests, spirometry and ECG's
  • Sexual health checks
  • Sexual health information for the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Travel advice and vaccinations
  • Treatment for minor injuries and sprains
  • Mental Health (including mental health care plans, referrals and in-house care)
  • Treatment/management for heart problems
  • Referrals to specialists where necessary

Confidentiality and Health Service policies

Safeguarding our patients confidentiality is very important to us. We do not share your information with the University.

We take all complaints seriously, no matter how trivial they may seem. If the matter cannot be resolved, the patient is advised about how to contact the external Health complaints commissioner. Members of the public may make a notification to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - www.ahpra.gov.au - about the conduct, health or performance of a practitioner or the health of a student. Practitioners, employers and education providers are all mandated by law to report notifiable conduct relating to a registered practitioner or student to AHPRA.
