Dr Sun (he/him) is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a graduate of the University of Sydney, UNSW, and the University of Queensland. He completed his medical degree and junior doctor training across 13 hospitals and clinics in Queensland and the Northern Territory before moving to the cooler NSW South Coast for specialist training in General Practice.
He has special interests in:
- Acne and skin care
- DVA & veterans' health
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Preventive health and checks
- Occupational health and safety
- Healthy ageing
- Longevity medicine.
Dr Sun is also a Medical Officer in the Australian Army Reserves, and is always keen to advocate for veterans. He is currently studying Medical Acupuncture, having come from a lineage of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr Sun is also intrigued by the complementary roles of animals, music, and games as therapy, in the maintenance of wellness and how these can be applied.
Outside of work, Dr Sun enjoys archery, kayaking, modelling, long sessions playing strategy and role-playing computer games with his fiancée.
Dr Sun can speak conversational Shanghainese and Mandarin.
