Share your thoughts on a new Engineering specialisation & earn $100!

Eligible UNSW Engineering students can earn $100 by participating in market research to help inform the development of a new specialisation within the UNSW Engineering Faculty. 

This is a unique opportunity to share your opinions on how to optimise this new offer and provide input into the creation a highly desirable program that provides students with a kickstart into a successful career. 

What's involved?

  • Structure: Participants will take part in a 1-hour online, private interview, where they will have an opportunity to share experiences and feedback regarding this proposed new offer.
  • Compensation: All participants will receive $100 as a thank you for their time.
  • Timing: Interviews will take place from late May to mid June, and will be scheduled according to the student's availability.
  • Additional info: This research is being conducted by Independent research firm, Fiftyfive5. Any feedback shared by students will be completely confidential

Who is eligible participate?

This opportunity is open to current students involved in the following specialisations only. Eligible students can register their interest by 7 June 2024. 

Students enrolled in 3707, 3761, 3762, 3764, 3765, 3767, 3768, 3773, 3785, 3793 and 3961 who are completing the following specialisations: 

  • Flexible first year 
  • PETRAH Petroleum engineering 
  • MECHAH Mechanical engineering 
  • CVENAH Civil engineering 
  • CEICAH Chemical engineering 
  • MINEAH Mining engineering 
  • MANFBH Mechanical and manufacturing engineering 
  • CVENBH Environmental engineering
  • SOLABH Renewable Energy Engineering

Students enrolled in 8338 who are completing the following specialisations:

  • PTRLIS Geothermal engineering 
  • CVENRT Geotechnical engineering and engineering geology 
  • CVENZS Civil engineering 
  • MECHIS Mechanical engineering 
  • CVENMT Environmental engineering
  • SOLADS Renewable energy
  • CEICJS Chemical process engineering

Students enrolled in 8621 who are completing the following specialisations: 

  • PTRLLS Petroleum engineering 
  • CVENYS Civil engineering  
  • MECHBS Mechanical engineering 
  • MINEYS Mining engineering 
  • CVENLT Environmental engineering
  • SOLAGS Renewable energy
