Add an image using the Image field

Place an image at the upper right of the page.

Note: Drupal prefer JPEGS or GIFs rather than PNG. While it can handle PNG images, the filesize is much larger and may impact students. In general, JPEG will provide a much better quality to file size ratio for photographs. This is important to improve the speed of loading web pages in browsers.

  1. On the New draft/Edit draft page, place your cursor in the Image field below the first Body box and click Browse.
  2. In the File Upload window, browse for the image file and open it. The file's address displays in the Image field.
  3. At the right of the Image field, click Upload. A thumbnail, linked filename, file size and the Remove button replace the Image field.
  4. Save your edits and check that the text next to the image displays as it should. You may need to adjust the paragraph breaks or text length to improve the way it flows around the image.
